 Topic:  "911, What's Your Emergency?" 

In this program, Dr. Elect Star, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, in her professional speaking manner, discussed the mental health crisis affecting society today.  She highlighted the prevalent Mental Health Disorders, e.g., Anxiety, Depression and Trauma Related Disorders, identified the signs, symptoms and treatment, and demonstrated a relaxation technique using the host, Kelly Vaughn, to illustrate how effective and helpful this relaxation technique can be.

During the Mozel Sanders Telethon, Dr. Elect Star provided helpful advice to those struggling with depression during the holiday season.  In addition, she explained what family, friends and neighbors could do to reach out to those struggling in the community with loneliness, isolation and depression.  Following her speech, she made a generous donation to the Mozel Sanders Foundation to help feed the hungry in her community.
